State of Maritime Piracy: 2020

In 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 had a profound impact on the shipping industry. Thousands of seafarers, unable to disembark for crew changes, were trapped at sea. However, for the most part, COVID-19 had minor impacts on the number of incidents of maritime piracy and armed robbery of ships. The State of Maritime Piracy 2020 marks the eleventh year that One Earth Future Foundation has assessed the human cost of maritime piracy, evolving from a project of Oceans Beyond Piracy to a flagship report of the Stable Seas program. In the future, this report will live on as a project of the new and independent Stable Seas foundation.

Great post on the State of Maritime Piracy! It’s fascinating and eye-opening to learn about global challenges at sea. I aspire to become a navy soldier and contribute to maritime security. To manage my studies, I often pay for assignment help, ensuring I stay on track while pursuing my dream.
